Privacy Policy
How Okommerce and Royex Technologies handle personal data.
Because Okommerce is self-hosted, the operator of each Okommerce installation is the data controller for the customer and order data it holds. Royex Technologies processes personal data only where it provides hosted services, support or the demo environment.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit through forms (name, email, company).
- Account information for the community forum.
- Standard technical logs for the marketing site and demo.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange demos.
- To operate the community and notify you about your activity.
- To send product updates where you have opted in.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing info@royex.net.
Terms of Service
By accessing this website and the Okommerce demo and community services you agree to use them lawfully and not to disrupt, reverse-engineer hosted infrastructure, or misuse other members' data. The Community Edition software is licensed separately under the MIT License (below).
Acceptable use
- No spam, abuse, or unlawful content in the community.
- No attempts to breach security or access data you are not authorised to.
- Content you post may be moderated or removed.
Services are provided “as is” for the marketing site, demo and community. Production support is governed by your Enterprise agreement.
Data Processing Addendum
Where Royex Technologies processes personal data on your behalf (for example, hosted or managed Enterprise services), a Data Processing Addendum governs that processing. It sets out the subject matter, duration, nature and purpose of processing, the types of data and categories of data subjects, and the security measures applied.
Subprocessors & transfers
Any subprocessors are disclosed and bound by equivalent obligations. For GCC customers, data residency options keep data within your chosen region. Request the current DPA and subprocessor list from info@royex.net.
