How do returns work for Physical products?

After receiving a physical product, a customer can submit a refund/return request. The system then schedules a reverse delivery job — a driver is dispatched to collect the item — and creates a return order that's tracked end to end. After receiving a physical product, a customer can submit a refund/return request. The system then schedules a reverse delivery job — a driver is dispatched to collect the item — and creates a return order that's tracked end to end. On collection the item is inspected; if it's sellable it can be restocked, and the refund is approved through the configured channel (original payment method, store-credit/wallet, or loyalty points). Damaged or not-as-described returns are handled per policy (reject or partial refund with evidence recorded). The whole reverse process — pickup scheduling, inspection, refund, restock — is managed on the system, and earned loyalty points on the returned amount are reversed/adjusted accordingly.
