You can also select a bundled default website template during setup so the storefront works immediately even if you have no theme of your own. In practice the path is: build → configure connection/app settings → run → wizard → (optional) import your catalogue → live. The design goal is that a non-expert can stand up a working store without hand-editing configuration files.
