SubscriptionDetail can specify a trial length (trial days). When set, the subscription begins with a trial during which the customer has access before regular billing starts; the subscription tracks a trial-end date, and the first real billing cycle begins after the trial. Trials let a business offer "first N days free" and convert the customer into paid billing automatically when the trial ends (charging the stored card in Stored mode, or invoicing in Manual mode). It's a per-product setting, so some plans can offer trials and others not.
