A Customer is the shopper. They browse the catalogue, build a cart, place orders, pay, track their orders, and request refunds/returns — primarily through the Customer PWA (and the storefront). A Customer is the shopper. They browse the catalogue, build a cart, place orders, pay, track their orders, and request refunds/returns — primarily through the Customer PWA (and the storefront). They can register an account or, depending on configuration, check out as a guest. Logged-in customers also receive personalized AI recommendations, can manage subscriptions and saved cards (stored safely as tokens), submit and negotiate quote requests for quote-type products, and write product reviews (which go through moderation). Everything a customer does is scoped to their own account and orders.
